Timothy R. Tyler, Esq.
Timothy Tyler graduated from Howard University in 1982. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law in 1986. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the first inter-collegiate fraternity established by African Americans.
Tim began his career by working at several small law firms around the Chicagoland area until 1991, when he started his own practice specializing in personal injury matters. He has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in various personal injury matters including, but not limited to, car accidents, products liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice and 1983 civil rights matters. He has tried several cases before juries and has litigated cases against numerous physicians, area hospitals, corporations, and cities in the Greater Chicagoland area.
Timothy Tyler is licensed in the State of Illinois and is admitted to the Federal Trial Bar. Tim is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Cook County Bar Association. He served on the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Board of Managers.
Taylor Tyler, Esq.
Taylor Tyler graduated from Northwestern University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies in three years. She attended University of Dayton School of Law on Dean's Merit Scholarship and graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2022 from the University's accelerated Two-Year J.D. program. Throughout her tenure at the University of Dayton School of Law, Taylor served as the 2021-2022 Sergeant at Arms of the Black Law Students Association and as a Teaching Assistant of the Legal Profession and Lawyering Skills.
Taylor is licensed in the state of Indiana and in the state of Minnesota. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. She is a member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, the Cook County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Taylor is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division Section Council for the 2023-2024 Bar year.
Taylor has worked at Tyler Law Offices since 2017 as a Legal Assistant. She has worked on various matters including medical negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and Section 1983 Prisoner Civil Rights claims.
